Active ESG solution with a low-carbon tilt. Using our proprietary ESG Profile Score, this portfolio targets stocks with higher ESG performance scores and a lower carbon intensity relative to the FTSE/JSE Capped Shareholder Weighted All Share Index. These objective measures are hard coded into the fund mandate.
Rules-based solutions with hard ESG exclusions. Our Indexation and Shari’ah portfolios both have, for instance, hard exclusions on companies involved in certain “controversial business activities” like offering tobacco, alcohol, gambling, nuclear power and weapons.
